A selection of the best moments from the famous Moscow Circus on Ice, interspersed with performances by famous Luxembourg artists including Pascal Schumacher, Thorunn, Marc Demuth & Sofi a Ribeiro, John Rech and Brass Machine, will enthral you by the skills of acrobats, tightrope walkers, talented musicians and more.

The evening will be a delight for gourmets and gastronomes, and will be followed by an “After Show Party”.

The Gala Evening is offered at a price of 135 euros ( all taxes included ) per person (without postage) and includes a welcome aperitif, the gastronomic buffet and accompanying drinks.

Pascal Schumacher is without doubt one of the most talented musicians in the Luxembourg jazz scene: countless concerts in the Grand Duchy and abroad are witness to that. This young virtuoso vibraphone player also won the Belgian “Django d’Or” in 2005 in the “New Talent” category, and the audience prize at the Tremplin Jazz d’Avignon. Thorunn is not only a volcano of ice and fi re in her homeland. Star of the small screen, she surprised a great many when she hit the radio waves with her “Complicated”. And those who thought she might be a “one hit wonder”, will be fl abbergasted by the charming singer’s new album “Superfi shreality”.

Marc Demuth & Sofi a Riberio Duo. The counterpoint of apparent extremes, double bass and voice, creates the surprising charm of this highly original programme presented by all-out specialists of the genre. A beautiful musical complicity ties the Portuguese singer Sofi a Ribeiro and the Luxembourg bassist Marc Demuth, who have toured the jazz clubs of Europe and the USA. After three years of musical collaboration, which began in Barcelona and took them to the great festivals and clubs of Europe, this duo recorded its first disc “Danca da Solidao” in 2005.

John Rech, former member of T42 who performs solo as “Dream Catcher”, is a lover of music and the stage. And although a good number of his songs are well known (“Marie-Anne”, “She dances”, “Happy in my Tree House”, “Sunny Days”, “Deng Hand”,...), it is his very emotional stage performance which is most eagerly awaited.

Brass Machine is not just a traditional cover band. The rather jolly and youthful group has updated some of the best numbers from the soul, rock and pop of recent years. Brass and rhythm section power through a compelling performance which will have young and old alike moving to their tune.
